The current Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu has been appointed by President Buhari has a new Chief of Staff following the dead of Abba Kyari the former Chief of Staff.
A source at the presidency, disclosed that President Buhari has picked Adamu Adamu as his Chief of Staff who formerly declined the position and continued as the Minister of education after the first tenure of Kyari that led to the reappointment of Abba Kari for the second term.
After the death of Abba Kyari, many people believe that President Buhari will favour former Secretary of the Federation, Babagana Kingibe but Buhari has preference for Adamu Adamu who is believed to have the same personality of the president.
Adamu Adamu has been working closely with President Buhari and the president has always allow him access into the Aso-rock with protocol. He is the only Buhari’s minister who can gain access to Buhari at any time and any date without being challenged by Abba Kari.
The source also disclosed that President Buhari is still mourning late Abba Kyari and that is what delaying the official announcement of Adamu Adamu but in coming week, Buhari will officially announce Adamu Adamu as the new chief of Staff to President Buhari. It is also noted that Adamu Adamu is already working in the capacity of chief of Staff, reason he is being represented by the Minister of State for Education in the presidential taskforce for COVID-19.
