Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), along with his aides, has been tested for COVID-19.
TheCable reports that the tests became necessary after the death of Lateef Hakeem, the former Lagos State governor’s security aide, on Friday.
Hakeem was said to have fallen ill on Monday and died in the early hours of Friday. His family claim he had a history of high blood pressure as well as diabetes.
TheCable added that before his burial on Friday, samples were taken from his body for laboratory tests to determine if he was infected with COVID-19.
Results of Tinubu and his aides are expected on Monday.
